Sister Poem by Myriam Karam

Sister

Sister,
I love you.
I always say I hate you,
I always say I can’t stand you.
I was never there for you,
You were always there for me.
I cry and scream inside,
Hoping you’ll love me.
If only you knew how much,
I loved you.
I’d give my life for you,
I will always love you,
No matter what happens.
If only, I didn’t love you so much,
Maybe… maybe the pain would stop.
I really love you,
But I never had the chance to tell you,
When I have the chance to tell you and be sincere,
I’m going to say I love you and your little sister is here!

I wish I had the power to stop you,
Am just incapable of doing anything! Anything! !
I’ve always told you: ″ I’ll be great while you’re away! ″
On the other hand, I won’t make it alone!
I wish you best of luck in everything.

Beautiful. Very tender. You captured the mind of a child well.
