Sister Poem by Krystal Galvis

Sister

For the two years, I was known as Krystal
Then in late December, five days before Christmas
I became an older sister
He was an adorable and innocent little boy
Who looked up to me
To teach him new things and protect him from the world
Then as he grew older,
He became a selfish troublemaker
Who got into fights and curse all the time
And wanted me to do his chores
This isn’t what I signed up for
But as long as I live, I will always be his older sister
