Sit Here Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Sit Here

Sit
Sit here
The even dusk in last throes of beauty
Looks lovelier
Yet also sadder than the rest of day.
O! That I would such beauty capture in equations
And then work out their transformations
Transformation to transformation ceaselessly
Sit
Sit here the bastion wall arises
And almost touches the bough of this tree
That breathes not far away.
