Sitting By The Seas And Watching Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Sitting By The Seas And Watching

The salty wind beats against my face
Flowing over the meditating seas;
The foamy tides kiss the sandy shores
And turn back swiftly humming in their
Retreats like a swarm of surly bees;

Above the seas the sky is serene and
Embraces the frayed clouds tight;
I watch a string of birds emerging
From the foliage and move upwards
In the evening's diminishing light;

I know not where to they are going
And when they will come back;
May be they are heading to the realm
Where darkness does not fall and will
Return when in the east dawn will crack.
