Sitting Here - Poem by Asha Adeana

Just sitting here
Thinking about the new
How I fucked up the past
Why I just throw our love away
I just never understood
Exactly how I could do that
To someone like you
You showed me everything
And all I had in return
Was you turn you down when all you need was a hand
And now your all ways gone
I can never hold you
When that’s all I wanted
I don’t like to show how I feel
All cause of my own past
But as I sit here and cry
And think about the new
I wish that you could be in it
Just one more last night
So you and me could be together
Just one more last time
But it could never happen
Cause you are there
And I am here
So I just sit here
And think of the new and the old
Just wishing I had you to began with
