Six Lady Lunch At The Senior Villa Poem by Jack Kennedy

Six Lady Lunch At The Senior Villa

Jean was the first to speak  'have you all met her? '
Four of the other five nodded. Eve said 'she's beautiful, and oh, what wit! '
Three stayed silent, but Anne added ' Ernest has already asked her to dine'
Two bit their lips, as Louise murmured that ' she certainly looks fit'
One just smiled as Ophelia chimed in 'John sat close to her on the patio, as they enjoyed a glass of wine'.
The last to speak was Ursula, who's 'wry' smile said she might have something to hide. 'You ladies shouldn't worry, I had drinks with Sharna last night..
And it's my pleasure to say, that she plays for the other side...'
