Skin Change Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Skin Change

Skin change

Like snake I exchange
-old skin for new.

I am lamb and have rubbed
-my body against rocks
-to get rid of old wool.

As a goat, grown old
-love to change my mohair.

No more I live my life
-as do mass; look-alike.

I am the Ana-al-Haq
-the righteous word of God.

Am Hallaj.
Am Hallaj.
Am Hallaj.

With blood I will wash
-my face if hand is cut
-rendezvous love bright
-with blood-red-smile.

Tell the world about me
-fearless, and fighting
-the darkness, of devils…

The stones and the walls
-not asphalt and the malls
-are friends in my life,
-always were and are now.

I act as did shepherds
-special shoes, jackets,
-reed-flute of six holes.
-I play mystic songs…
-breeze talking with air…
-common tongue is the wind
-while making milestones…
