Skype Date Poem by William McGehee

Skype Date

Comming in a little blurry,
Partly static, but don't worry.
Our time apart is not forever,
Technology can make it better.

Now I can be a world away
And see you smile every day.
Now you can tell your daily musings
And blow me kisses at your choosing.

But this is just a tease, a trace:
A vague impression of your face.
Technology, at its best a ghost,
Cannot compare to holding you close.
