You promised me things and held it high
And I trusted you when you rhymed that lie
But I saw the pool behind your eye
That you burned it down from above the sky
When I was there I was your slave
But when I got lost you told me I'm king
You didn't even bow when I was there
But you struck me down when I bid you stay
I won't take any chances to sit back my throne
I'd better be alone to get back my life
And when you fall I'll wear my turn
And look to you as you die and burn
