Sleep Then Awake Poem by Jose Duran

Sleep Then Awake

Dreaming i say "Cry Cry cry……
Die die die…..
Goodbye bye bye …..
God please tell me why why why……..
I am ready to fly fly fly………………"

Yesterday today and tomorrow I awake
With an unbearable sensation of sorrow, pain and ache
loads of liquid falling atop my nostrils to fill a lake
yearning to do something which is my existence to take

in a snowstorm I am just merely a spic on a flake
but one that god almighty can make
yet again comes the thought of take
it is because I never get my piece of cake
for me people would not even start to bake

they do this not realizing what is at stake
that one day there will be a wake
one day I will not wake
when this happens will anyone shake
will they even sigh for god sake

today I will drive my car with no brake
that way it will evaporate the flake
it is the request of a kind of cupcake
and I am the only one that knows how to bake

no more sorrow, pain, and ache
no more dreaming of death then awake
But wait did anyone shake
How will I know for god's sake

I will then just drive with the most sophisticated brake
I will ask for guidance on all my cakes
I will chose carefully on who will bake
Aid and happiness is what I will take.

Falling back to sleep dreaming "

I will not ever cry no cry will not cry
I will not die no die will not die
Suicidal thoughts I now say Goodbye bye bye
Why did I have them in the first place…. why
God please tell me why why why……..
I am ready to spread my wings of happiness no lie
I am ready to fly fly fly"

Hello I many of times felt sad and depressed. I was in a really bad place emotionally and mentally at one point. i also thought if i did die would anyone care.I wrote this as a way to relieve some of the pain and to convince myself not kill myself.
