Sleep Walking Poem by Sarah Child

Sleep Walking

My body feels heavy and tired
As though I’m walking through water
My mind feels cloudy and slow
As though it were drunk
Aimlessly I walk-never stopping
My eyes are covered with shadow
And my heart is filled with darkness
I walk through life in a daze
Stumbling-but not feeling the pain
Someday I’ll wake up from this dream
To the world I am suppose to be in
