Sleeping On Silk Grass Poem by Satish Verma

Sleeping On Silk Grass

You are in me
to die. I am searching Buddha in
every leaf to understand sacrifice.

This is my temple
without a god. A stranger lands
to remove the opacity of love.

It is my pain, O
love. Life drinks my tears after
the mirage takes me to the sky.
