Slip Into The Night Poem by Alfred Ramos

Slip Into The Night

We walked on the cool wet sand
Hand in hand
Like two lovers who understand
The sun will set and the moon will rise
As passion passes through our eyes
We see love for what it is
All we can say is gee whiz
Just let the tide
Wash away what we can’t hide
Like two over on a wild ride
The stars will soon appear
Crowing themselves into the atmosphere
We stir every possible emotion
That can fill an entire ocean
We see love in a new form
And we can wait out any storm
Let’s slip into the night
Hold on to each other tight
Display the desire we seek to ignite
Let the moon glow caress our skin
Let night wind be our romantic violin
In our embrace we become one
So that’s love cannot be undone
