Slips. Poem by Alison Rosalie

Slips.

I lifted my drooling head and eyes traced in red,
as he moaned a soft sigh and looked me in they eye,
smiling like a Cheshire cat, naked as a mole rat,
asking blank permission, blanketing the vastness of my skin
stretched over bad health and protruding hips
I tasted nothing close to shame on our lips.
