Slogra (The Dinosaur Knight) Poem by Justin Gildow

Slogra (The Dinosaur Knight)

You're a grotesque marvel Slogra
A dinosaur knight
And I know I can't underestimate you
Or that you'll take it easy on me

Skilled with a trident
As well as being armed with fireballs
You're not exactly a pushover

After delivering blows to you
And destroying your trident
I'd think I'd have turned the battle in my favor
But you have a wild card up your sleeve
And you now have a much more fierce attack against me
As you rely on your charging speed and pointed beak

After jumping and being on my guard
And testing the limits on my feet
I finally put you away Slogra

You were a worthy opponent Slogra
And surely, I won't forget you
But I must be on my way
To finally end the terror that's plagued the night
