Sleeping With The Enemy Poem by Justin Gildow

Sleeping With The Enemy

It's been crazy for you these days
It seems you're spinning out of control
Wondering what's wrong and what's right
Since you've begun sleeping with the enemy

Since you've begun sleeping with the enemy
You seem to be going nowhere fast
Your emotions are being pelted to death
And you're taking a lot of deep breaths

I know you want to hide your dirty laundry
As well as not let any drama out
Or let anybody see you cry

I know you're a nice girl
You just need to stop putting up a front

I'll support you
Whether you want me to or not
And with things the way they are in your
life
With me around
I'm all you've got

It's up to you
What do you want to believe

Very introspective and very elusive. If you were talking to me I would leave you standing there wondering what you did. A 10. Barbara
