Slow Life - Poem by Hayden Walstrom
Life has been slow since that day
that day you left.
Nothing has and ever will be the same
for me and that person I dare not name.
You came and you went
with a snap of a finger.
Not once did stay just to linger.
I thought you'd be my friend
even through the end.
You ignored all the messages I send
Now there's no way for my heart to mend.
So I guess this slow life I'll continue to live.
