Small Fishpond Poem by Lily YANG

Small Fishpond

Between our garden and a rice field bond,
Father singly tried to dug a small fishpond.
Under the big trees without certain names,
Carried mud piled into a hill to play games.
Pond's water was soaked from the ditches,
Vegetables grew well without water hitches.
