Small Grandchildren
SMALL GRANDCHILDREN
They are growing up
As we are growing down-
They give the dream of the Future
We bear the weight of the Past-
They do not know the lift they give us
We are always aware of trying not to burden others -
They are learning
And we try to teach-
Their very existence is the fulfillment of our dreams
And they do not understand why simply by being
They bring us so much Happiness.
