Smile Poem by Ajibua Adeyemi

Smile

I am scared of commitment
I dread it

I have nothing you want
What you need I can't give

I am so uncertain about the future
Thinking about it unsettles me

I am so unsure of myself
I can't bring anyone in

I might sound delusional
Like it is all in my head

Like a I pathetic fool
Yet it's all I can think of

I would not want to bring you
Bring you into this mess with me

So I will rather look at You and smile
Wishing you all the good you can find
