Smile, my second Vic
Let the breath of laughter fill your African nostrils
And the stretch of giggle fills your lighter feminine ribs
Your beauty is null without a smile
Never face the crowd with the face
You don't know but we see you frown
Let us not see the troubles in your face
Smile, my second Vic
Smile, my black angel
Complement your beauty with a beaming smile
Open your lips and let out some bad breath
And liven our world with a teethy smile
The first Vic, my mum, smiled
It made her a woman for all
I want you to become more
So smile, my second Vic

I would like to translate this poem
Dominic, next project will be on the Japanese form of poetry 'haiku & tanka'. - Since it is not so easy for non-Japanese or not learned poets writing waka poetry, also 'so called' Taoist poems will be accepted [there will be an 'Addendum /Appendix' in the book]. Think about.. ok?
