Im trying to keep that smile of mine.
I dont want it to go with the sands of time.
I want to keep laughing through the pain.
I got to live I got to stand through the rain.

Too many nights alone with my friends.
Too many drinks but the nightmare doesnt end.
I try and try to keep that smile.
If only too keep for a little while.

I go to bed praying for tommorow.
Wishing for a future without any sorrow.
All my misery wont go away.
Nothing vanishes in the rain.

All along the you and me.
Were just old pictures,
and faded memories.
The smile I kept just for you.
The dreams I had never came true.
My hopes my joy were replaced by lies.
Everything gone with your last goodbye.
