Snow



Your heart has found a friend
You wait so long for Summer's end
Through your window
You watch, and wait for..

Reflections of the rain
In your eyes cannot ease the pain
Yet your skin glows
When the cold wind blows
Again.

And who else understands
The joy as it slips through your hands
You wished for this
Each snowflake is
A kiss.
