How do you do it...how do you see
In the eyes of solar brilliancy,
Trees obscured from drifts of white
Reflecting off the mid-day's light.
Warping angles thrust your glide,
on wooden feet that keep your stride
For the winning or from the wipe-out,
Speed causes eyes a white out.
Goggles don't help this sloping hell;
Mist to ice, and ice to shell.
Yet, still, you somehow negotiate
The snow-fogged trail to break the tape
'Tis why they've donned you Ski-Bird
Twisting movements, quite absurd.
And I'll swear to the snow gods high;
Joe, you have to be SNOWBLIND!
