Snowflake Poem by Ashley Burns

Snowflake

Warm breath on my cheek
On a cold winters day
Is death to a flake
That fluttered astray
Of the snowfall
That brought it to
My face where it lay
Inimitable in its beauty
Before melted away

Touching.....I'm here today on the computer checking out fellow Canadian poets and their poetic insights. You might like to check out my poem entitled One Hundred Words, it too was inspired by snow, a beautiful snowscape. Also, you might appreciate another, A Brook. Ciao.
