So Alone
Another day is going by
Dragging my heels on the concrete
Walking so fast just to think
And I end up at your street
What would it take to walk to your door?
What would I say if you answered?
Why is the curb so menacing?
Why do I harbour all this hurt?
This day is pulling to a close
It's time for me to get home
How am I supposed to go on
When I feel so alone?
