So Does My Mind Wonder Poem by Robert Fagan

So Does My Mind Wonder

Sun shines down thru newly formed leaves, so does my mind wonder.
Back and forth the blowing of the breeze, so does my mind wonder.
Rising up with the ever radiant heat, so does my mind wonder.
Higher than the top boughs of the trees, so does my mind wonder.

Clouds rolling over coming from the sea, so does my mind wonder.
Sailing on to the mountains far from me, so does my mind wonder.
Snow falling softly in dusty little heaps, so does my mind wonder.
Melting slowly and forming tiny streams, so does my mind wonder.

Flowing on to the brilliant fields of green, so does my mind wonder.
Meadows shrouded in a misty morning scene, so does my mind wonder.
Birds that caw a warning for me to heed, so does my mind wonder.
Time has come for harvest to be reaped, so does my mind wonder.

Cutting harsh and tearing out the seed, so does my mind wonder.
Silence breaking as if it were to bleed, so does my mind wonder.
Growing bolder into a roaring scream, so does my mind wonder.
Darting colors of chafe beneath my feet, so does my mind wonder.

Pent up all the feelings yearning to be free, so does my mind wonder.
Light that they embrace to satisfy the need, so does my mind wonder.
Glowing of the amber a trail thats set to see, so does my mind wonder.
Sun shines down thru newly formed leaves, so does my mind wonder.
