So I Rise Poem by Titto Mutunguti

So I Rise

If only you knew me well,
Then you would never let me go.
Clinging on me, you would,
like one gasping for his last breath,
Like am life,
without me it's death.
So you inevitably chose to stay instead.
If you knew me well,
Then we won't be here seated,
You would rather be an inspiration,
than a blockhead.
You would know,
That I would eventually rise like a rocket.
Then power you up like a socket.
But you barely know me.
So i rise,
Before you realise.
