So Long.. Poem by Jamie Lynn

So Long..

So long to Farm Credit, all the years you committed,
You were blessed with this job, but now you can quit it! !

You'll sleep in til noon, may not even dress,
Head to Walmart in slippers and hair in a mess.

Morning coffee gossip with Alice & John,
Perhaps you don't realize, but those days now gone.

For most of your life you worked like a dog,
To provide for your family, a most comfortable home.

My heart's filled with pride, if only you knew,
No one deserves this as much as you do.
