So long ago i thought of you
To hold you tight and love you true
Posses my heart and share your love
To spread our wings take flight above

So long ago i thought of you
When depression crept my feelings blue
To feel your touch to kiss your lips
To catch you when your grip would slip

So long ago i thought of you
To see your eyes that shown through
To stroke your hair emotions flew
To catch the love you gently blew

So long ago it was not fair
To wake up with your love not there
To deal abruptly with heart's decay
The joyful things that could not stay

So long ago i watched you die
You said your final heart's good bye
Now im lost to the devil's deeds
To the one i've lost my heart now bleeds
