So Many Shun The Grave Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

So Many Shun The Grave

So
Many
Shun
The grave,

So many despise.
So many fear

In horror recoil of
nightmares on the pillow
tossed.

But let us assert that this be one side of the Coin.

All Coins shall have at least two sides.

And the Grave too.

In it
Silent wisdom
Creeps

Evolves with Time: Motion
To them proportionate.

Graves creak, they said

But doors creak too
We shudder
Then it passes on.

Why not the grave, the tomb?

And
Then there the Spirit-Ghost
At last cuts off its chains.

Whilst Humans to the chains
Condemned
Imprisoned
The irony be that oft you feel gay-satisfied!

Any Revolution must be done, any chain cut.

And then another Revolution done

And another

And another
For
Let the Cycle of Revolutions shall be ever!
