So much of time,
Money and efforts
We spend -
In grooming
Ourselves...
Only to realise
In the end, that
We are losing ourselves


Grooming here implies the strict beauty regimes that many of us rigidly follow and the numerous attires we try and buy so as to 'look and feel' good.

Losing here could imply losing touch with one's true self in order to gain social acceptance or losing oneself to senescence and death after which there is no sense of self.
