So Much Holiness Around Poem by Francisco R. Albano

So Much Holiness Around

Behold the lilies
And persimmons
In a cyclotron

Consider the birds
And double helix
Under glass

Aura of mind
Creating atoms
With joyous freedom

The sky has roots
Like tree like rivers
Have the sea

The common people
Abide and subdue
Hatred and injustice

New faith lives
Within bounds of science
And myth yet transcendent

And Deity is contained
In the everflow
Of nature

Of life heavenly
As blue earthrise
Of woman

From the point of view
Of stars
Or of a simple

Moon
So much holiness
Around
