So... What Happens Now?

I approach a rose-scented
waterfall
and under its waters
drenched with perfume
my body comes back to life,
I step forward once more
and a forest of trees
with shining leaves
embroidered with rubies
welcomes me and there
in a glade
of smiling moons
veiled with rime
I rise from the ground
and when the leafy branches
of the long trees come to an end
the wind of the desert
caresses me with its sand
and the morning sun
already high in the sky
makes me close my eyes.
A moment later
I lift my eyelids
and a colourful stone cliff
surrounds the shore
among ivory shells
and palms that almost touch the sea.
I shut my eyes
and when I open them again …
