Why do more come?
Scary mind, scary place
for me, it's the exact same thing
why does everyone try to get inside
when they just end up running away from fear afterwards
i'm sure i've built a reputation now
so why do more come?


thoughts of death, thoughts of suicide
thoughts of loss, thoughts of none gained
thoughts of love, thoughts of rejection
thoughts of hate, thoughts of annoyance
so why do more come?


how bout you just leave my mind alone?
why do you try to change it?
I am me, and you are you
why can it never be left at that?
So why do more come?


Why do you continue to like me
when I know we're both screaming
'I hate you' inside our minds
Why can't we just be real?
so why do more come?
