So You'Re Really Leaving Me - Poem by bree nada

today was my last day with you
and i only saw you at school once.
our eyes met and we hugged, but you didn't understand
so you're really leaving me?
you're really going to another school?
so should i tell you i might love you
or should i just let you go?
i dont feel anything right now
my heart is numb from this weeks pain
so you're really leaving me?
what can i say
its been fun hanging out with you
i hope i see you again
did i tell you that im angry?
because that's what i am
angry and heartbroken but life goes on
tomorrows winter formal
and you'll be nowhere to be seen
i hope you know that i'll miss you
so do i really love you?
or is this an infatuation?
if it's true that you're leaving me
then i'll tell you on monday
i'll tell you that i fell in love with you
i'll tell you that i'll miss your perfect hugs
the same day that i'll tell you i love you
is the same day i'll say good-bye.
because after this i never want to see you again
i dont want my heart to die.
