Social Networking



Social networking is starting to get a little scary;
Someday I'll be expecting
To see little modules
Replacing the what are you doing right now thing
So we can watch exactly what they're doing,
Around the clock.

Friday night: picking their nose
Watching a movie,
While continuously typing with the left hand;
Sleeping with the lights on.
Toilet chairs will be king
Fiber drinks dominate the store aisles,
Full-spectrum lamps a necessity of life.
Isn't it almost like that now?

The worst part of this is knowing
That I would definitely be happy with that scene.
Maybe I should search for a toilet chair right now?
Or perhaps just scroll ahead, another ten years-
When the view screen is right on the back of my hand,
Mouse button, on the end of my index finger:
