Solace

I seek
Where do you hide?
Need you once more
Not a matter of pride

A loss yet again
Still numb, not in pain
Have brought the kids home
Some tears but no shame

I sit alone now
Nothing under foot
Should I move the rug
Not yet a while, not yet
