Soldier - Poem by Chris Rodriguez

He is strong and willing,
but weak and unstable.
He is independent and loyal.
He has courtesy and is humble.
He fights with bravery,
and shows remorse.
He is swift and stealth.
On the field he is full of rage.
He does this for his country,
for the freedom we all have.
He fights for his survival,
He is a animal.
He is not a coward.
He fights with pride.
He fights for the stripes, stars,
and what is justifiable.
He has loved ones at home.
He is tired but restless.
Hee is like the sun,
filled with a warm core.
He is a soldier.

Chris, a stong work, You express the sentiment well as well as some of the contradictions of the trade. (Report) Reply
