Soldier Boy Poem by Annabella Nel

Soldier Boy

Soldier-boy
When you coming home
In my dreams I see
You hear my cries
Figt a war make peace
Do your part for mankinbut soldier-boy, I need you
Right here too.

When the first flowers bloom, and winter fades away.
Will you be close to hear my heartbeat play?
When the moon is full
And what you see there is my face
Or if the clouds cover it up
Do you forget this pace?

A million stars twinkle every night, they know my name every part.
When the last one dies will you come home to my heart.

Soldier-boy
When you do come home
Ill be right here waiting by the phone.
