As I walk in a formal line
I can hear the yelling and cursing
‘Go to hell, that’s were you belong’
‘You deserve death! Nothing more! ’
‘You killed innocent people! ’
I look at my right and I see a woman with her child
She turns to him and says loud enough to hear
‘That man is the reason why we are free’
I smile and keep on walking
But then I hear more hatred
For what?
Risking my life to save them!
Those pathetic civilians
All they think about is themselves
Remember to never question a soldier
Never tell him he has murdered innocent people
Because he has fought for you and me
Some times death for one
Can lead to like for two
