A Soldier's Fears
By: Christiane Cardinal

Nightmares keep him awake all night

Even though he chose to fight

They may have won the war

But the scars still remain as a memoir

While he's safely at home with his newborn

Many families still mourn

His wife is torn when he cries

Knowing that the soldiers fell to their demise

Christiane, technically a memoir is a written recollection!
