Solemnly Waiting Poem by Jessie Jett

Solemnly Waiting

Rating: 5.0

So solemnly, I sit.
To this day, or to the next.
How to overcome it.
Solemnly thinking,
A way to be free.
Solemnly agressing,
the blind eye shall see.
So solemnly, I sit.
To this day, or to the next.
Where ever I shall find it.
Fall to this earth,
like the broken hearted.
To swim in the seas
of all our departed.
To be burried and alive again.
Scratch the surface remaining within.
Fall to this earth,
questions in the sky.
So solemnly, but eagerly
you know how to find.
So solemnly, I seek.
To this day, or to the next.
Solemnly, patiently waiting,
for whatever it shall be.

I like your cadence in Solemly Waiting. Also enjoyed your imagery, esp. the line to swim in the seas of all our departed.
