Letter From A Poet Poem by Jessie Jett

Letter From A Poet

Rating: 5.0

To you, my undying love.
Your thought gazes among my eyes.
For your words captivate my insides.
The roll of your tounge dazzles my life.

A love in a heart, words so tender.
A heart to be bleeding in pain.
But you beat tremendously,
So full of everything.

To you, my undying love.
Your words are astonishing.
They are defining, so perfectly sounding.
Your soul floats around me.

The music from your hand.
The words from your soul.
You scream with devotion.
A rupture of countless words untold.

To you, my undying love.
You've cried uncounted tears.
You've moved ink throughout the years.
For a heart and a hand is mirrored.

A love in a heart, words so tender.
A heart to be bleeding in pain.
But you beat tremendously,
Even after every page.

The music from your hand.
The words from your soul.
It's the undying love for you.
A poet, and a pencil.

This is a message that every poet should read. It meaning reaches deep inside you. Grabs a hold you to tell they are those who are still listening. Even behind the silence of a computer screen. Their are those who think poetry has been abandon for something better. But it hasn't, it is now bigger then ever. Can you hear it, the music just keeps getting louder, clearer, crisper. A message to a poet is a important message if I say so myself.
