The dawn is painted tangerine like an ember;
I see the fraternization of the clouds and
The sapphire shroud of this lunatic's asylum
I am silent - I watch the stars bleed at night
In synchronicity with my eyes out of crestfallen
Sockets - in the darkness I hear you, calling.
In the night, I hear myself utter ludicrous confessions:
The night revels with the planets, the girdle of
The nebulae sings and she is not with me
I fathom sea after sea, ocean after ocean
Hover over fire and the iron constraint
And still, I sink in the distance of the archipelagos.
The stars are scintillating; the moon's half
Is guzzled in a crescent - the madness of the night
Billows like the glissando of a falcate beam.
My reticence cannot encompass the churlish hills,
The secretive mountains - silence is the language of repose;
But why, in this soliloquy, where I hold your photograph
Silence becomes a thief that pilfers away
Each and every sanity I have left in these eyes?
The transparency has given me away in this blight.
I reach for your dress - a sense of jovial containment
Whirs inside as the fringes tell me the vestiges
That you left in a trifle morose harrow.
Love, in here, I see the stars, I see the sky-domes
Tainted ebony as the night slithers serpentine
I see you in one of the stars - slumbering
And I see myself in the corolla
Circumnavigating the land, mazily,
Searching for paths that would lead me to you
I have gone astray in the night that knows no reprieve
The forests do not hold a clemency -
O, love, you are not here, and how I die in different, obscured places.
Yet, this is the only death I covet to usurp
If love is avaricious, then let it take all of me
As I let you sequester me to one of your loins
Under the same, immensely infinite sky that we share,
Here I am as I speak the undecipherable language
Of a soul that breaks, shatters, then amalgamates.
So love, stay where you are and wait for my arrival;
The days soar through the trellis of a thousand cravings
And in here, love, you are kept like a fire - until we collide.
