Solitude Kills Poem by Dylan Brown

Solitude Kills

falling down a blackened hole
screaming for you to save me
but its no one but me, so now i will think,
why should i even try

Every passing day,
just seems as it never happened
i cant hold onto the light anymore,
this time im the one who needs to be saved,
nothings what it seems to be, im an empty shell,
hollow inside, a replica of me

How did i let it come to this
i havent the slightest idea
free me from the binds of life
give me light inside this darkness

i only search for the simplest of things
though god's plan this is not
not another meaningless fling
and not because their hot

i want to hold you close to me
from night till fleeting sun clears it away
i want you to be
safe in my arms
for all eternity

Write it... write it... write it out... allow some humor to help spit it out... there is so much reason to try cos you will find your wings & once again fly
