Some Assembly Required
'The Assembly Line'

It starts with an appetite we didn't build.
They sold us the mirror,
then rented us the light,
then asked why we were tired of standing still.
So we package the exhaustion,
call it aesthetic,
and post it before the feeling dies.
And by tomorrow morning—
