Some Birds Poem by Neela Das

Some Birds

All are not the slaves of your head,
But souls can not be captivated.
Some are Birds, birds of special kind.
They echo the vibes of life.
When day falls on the lap of night,
You all sleep, they rise.
No captivator can keep watch on them.
They keep themselves awake to fight for right.
Under the mild candle light.
They sing the song of Freedom.
They flap their wings to fly high,
High above the Sky.
Some birds have also lighted wings,
When they stir their wings,
Drops of light spread everywhere,
On lands, hills, into rivers....
And some birds jump into fire to get rejuvenated!
They are Phoenix.
Womb of these birds are not meant for giving birth only.
There is not only Water but Fire also.
Fire which can burn the worn-out thoughts,
And the ashes can fertile lands with Landays!
