Some Kind Of Trick - Poem by Tanec Rayl

our defense against the enemy's cultural onslaught is this:
they have no need to play any more
the case was too simple
some of the work was duplicative
their heartrate now exceeds the target range

my interest is in the creation of worlds
the exploitation of existing relationships
your previous ruling is in error
it was an isolated occurrence; what did you expect
we had no precedents
we were not interesting to designers
we were social in nature and
sometimes people don't want to control characters

sure, owners of the original will lap this up
the cocksucker industry can invest in the new bands of tomorrow
the sun is dying, Amaterasu
trap the audience in the ship
