Somebody Seen Unseen Poem by Sumita Jetley

Somebody Seen Unseen

In the quiet of dawn's embrace,
Rumi stands, a lone silhouette,
His heart a canvas of colors bright,
For Shams, his soul's true silhouette.

With eyes closed and arms wide open,
He spins, a dance of love and yearn,
His hair flows, freedom's token,
For Shams, he waits, for Shams, he turns.

'O Shams, my heart, my guiding light,
In your absence, I've found my way,
Your love, a flame, burning bright,
In your absence, I've learned to sway.

With each turn, I shed my chains,
Closer to you, in spirit, I glide,
In the dance, your essence remains,
In every spin, with you, I collide.

Your absence, a presence so profound,
A teacher, a guide, leading me home,
In your love, I'm lost, in your love, I'm found,
In your love, a vast, endless tome.

As the dance slows, peace fills the air,
Rumi's heart, with love, does swell,
Shams's spirit, forever near,
In love's eternal dance, they dwell.
